Bazı Tekstil Boyalarının Drosophila Melanogaster'de Ömür Uzunluğu, Yaşama Yüzdesi ve Yavru Birey Sayısına Etkileri

In this study, ten dyes used in textile industry (Reactive blue 19, Reaktive red 120, Reaktive black 5, Direct black 22, Acid yellow 199, Basic red 46, Dispers yellow 119, Acid red 266, Acid blue 113 and Basic yellow 28) effects have been investigated on Drosophila melanogaster’ s percentage of survival, longevity, number of offspring individuals. Drosophila melanogaster’ s wild type has been used in experiments. Chemicals prepared in different concentrations (10 ppm, 20 ppm, 30 ppm and 40 ppm) have been applied to the larvae with nutrients to determine survival rate. It has been observed that Reactive blue 19, Reactive red 120, Reactive black 5, Acid yellow 199, Basic red 46, Dispers yellow 119, Acid red 266 and Basic yellow 28 dyes all concentrations applied to larvae have decreased the life span according to control group and these concentrations have increased survival rate of Acid blue 113 and Direct black 22. For longevity, it has been worked in Drosophila melanogaster’ s male and female individuals one by one. Same aged (1-3 days) and not mated virgin female and male individuals which came out from pupae have been fed in medium which contains chemicals with different concentrations (10 ppm, 20 ppm, 30 ppm and 40 ppm). Except for Dispers yellow 119 other dyes caused to decrease longevity in male and female individuals, Also in every group, it is determined that female individuals live longer in comparison to male individuals. To identify dyes effects on first generation male and female individuals, in every application group only females have been exposed to chemicals on the other hand in other experiment set belongs to same application group only males have been exposed to chemicals. Offspring individual numbers in F1 progeny obtained from mated flies have been determined. In F1 progeny resulted from chemical application to female individuals, it has been observed that Acid blue 113, Dispers yellow 119, Reactive black 5 and Reactive blue 19 increased first generation numbers in total, females gave lesser amount of first generation according to the control group in all aplied concentrations of Acid red 266, Acid yellow 119, Direct black 22 and Reactive red 120. In F1 progeny resulted from chemical application to male individuals, Acid red 266, Acid yellow 199, Basic red 46, Basic yellow 28, Direct black 22 and Ddispers yellow 119, caused to decrease in younger individual number, on the other hand Reactive black 5 and Reactive blue 19 dyes increased the younger individual number. It has been observed that, in result of dyes have been applied to male individuals, dyes effect on younger individual number in F1 progeny is more sensitive than female individuals which have been exposed to chemicals
